Jan and Stan left today to travel to Heathrow and make their direct connection to Anchorage tomorrow.Safe journey dear friends we shall miss you and the gals in Soldotna.
However brownbeartravels will continue to wander on as there is a lot more to tell of our times together both here and in Alaska.These pictures are of grand memories .

Our Cotswold Way walk was fab and each little village was a chocolate box of quaintness. As planned, on Friday morning our faithful friends drove into Chipping Cambden to collect us and take us to their lovely home in Daventry. I must say that I am more than impressed with the driving skills of Sir Keith. The Brits are fearless drivers especially on the roundabouts. We spent a lovely evening with their talented neighbors Jackie and Craig. When Craig asked if we'd like to see the car he has been building from a kit in his garage for the past three years, I expected a little dune buggy or roadster. But NO! Craig has hand built nothing less than a Shelby Cobra the pride of British racing lore. To say we were impressed was an understatement. We spent some wonderful time with Gilly and Keith and got to love up their two beautiful doggies Finan and Tilly. Finan is quite the proper English squire and little Tilly is so lively and impish.We got to experience first hand why she is nicknamed Tilly T-Bag as she will lap up a proper cuppa if not watched carefully. A little British pair through and through. Thank you little ones for taking the sting out of missing our two and for enchanting us and stealing our hearts with your antics.
