Good newsof our friend Mary from Alabama

WE have just got (via a friend on Facebook) a message passed on from Mary's family." She and her doggies are OK.  Her house has no electricity.  Huntsville was hit by no less than 6 tornadoes.  More than 200 people have been killed by the storms whipping through the south yesterday".

On this happy wedding day in the UK spare a thought and your prayers for those in America and all those who have suffered natural disasters recently around the world Haiti, Queensland New Zealand Japan and elsewhere .

  2. What a beautiful wedding and wonderful bride and groom. Westminster Abbey was a spectacular venue and the Archbishop gave us all wonderful and wise advice. “Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.” Hopeful news for this weary world. You English should be proud.

  3. We thought the Bishop's address and THEIR prayer and service terrific .The music and singing stunning and on our way down to a post wedding meal at Nick and Sherries saw a few street parties going on and at one place about 20 neighbours singing songs to an accordion melodies! It looked totally spontaneous.

It was good to see people from all over the world makingith us friends on the streets of London .You'll have to come and stay while the Olympics are on some of the events like the road race cycling ,msarathon and sailing are free .
